Dear Kukkiwon Taekwondo leaders and families.
It is with great pleasure and my honor I send the greetings from the KUKKIWON, World Tae Kwon Do Headquarters, in Seoul.
Every day, I connect with countless leaders around the world about the effect of COVID-19. I am deeply concerned about the unprecedented impact the Pandemic is having on our Do Jangs and our beloved Tae Kwon Do community.
Like many around the world, the Pandemic also affected KUKKIWON’s ability to share and support you with the education, development, and promotion of Tae Kwon Do in the last two years.
Today, I am proud to announce the hosting of the “first ever” Five Tier KUKKIWON Expo in the United States to support the hard-working Tae Kwon Do leaders in the Americas.

• Kukkiwon Cup-Competition in Sparring, Form, Team Demo, Breaking
• Open Forum/Banquet-Discussion platform for Kukkiwon Taekwondo & Banquet

I hear your concern. I recognize the agony you must endure. This is why I have
decided to attend in person to host, listen, support, and plan for our greater
Tae Kwon Do future, together. Along with my support panel of advisors and
KUKKIWON Academy Instructors, I will also be bringing the world-famous
KUKKIWON Demo team for an exhibition.

2022 USA KUKKIWON EXPO
International Symposium of the best Taekwondo program hosted by
the current president of KUKKIWON, Grandmaster LEE, Dong Sup.
2022 USA KUKKIWON EXPO is a 5 part event.
1. Kukkiwon Cup Championship open to all ages and all levels of Tae Kwon Do practitioner. Forms, Sparring, Breaking, demo team competition are offered. Be part of the Kukkiwon Cup
and take home the coveted Kukkiwon International Championship title.
2. KUKKIWON Academy, a 7-day Certification Course for
International Taekwondo Master and Taekwondo Poom/Dan Examiner.
Newly published Kukkiwon's practical self-defense course will also be showcased.
3. Open Forum with Kukkiwon's president Grandmaster Dr. Lee, Dong Sup.
Grandmaster Lee invites you to an open, candid dialogue to discuss the development of
Tae Kwon Do. Grandmaster Lee is eager to hear what he can do to help support and
further improve relations with Taekwondo leaders in the Americas.
4. Do Jang management seminar for school owners. COVID-19 has impacted many
schools around the world. Business, marketing practices will be
discussed to assist in improving school operations.
5. World famous KUKKIWON Demo Team (The World's Best on CBS - Finalist),
will be doing a live performance. Also, the newly developed Kukkiwon's practical
self-defense will be featured as a demonstration.
For the first time, the president of KUKKIWON is hosting an international championships here in the US.
